Home sweet home!

After only three weeks at Never Flies my compadres and I have been sent back to Ultimate Destination. And let me tell you, the moment I stepped on to the concrete of Ultimate Destination I felt relieved! Who would have thought that being back in this old and well known mayhem would actually evoke happiness and serenity!
Of course those feelings did not last for too long, but that's just the luànese kind of lifestyle (or shall I say "workstyle"?).

Never Flies, which lays close to the Capital, was pure hell. Hot temperatures and high humidity, mixed with smog / fog / haze and other things we do not know off; three days out 21 where the sky is clear enough, that one can actually see how blue it is, just does not do it for me.

During this stay, I was allowed to occupy a room at the four star hotel just across the street from the airport. A four star hotel which seemed to be keeping all sorts of insects as house pets and turning the air conditioning off as they please. At least it was not the airport hotel, which grows all kinds of fungus in the bathtubs.

The area, being the airport suburb, was dead. Two hotels, four questionable restaurants, the company's cafeteria and one small shop was all we had immediate access to. Downtown was so far away, that even travelers of other, more wealthier galaxies would have thought about it twice before jumping into a taxi.

Out of the group, I was the first one to arrive. On my first work day as an ink-wasting office utensil I was assigned one of the projects due to the work overload of one of the Master Luànese. And of course it had to be done in as little time as possible. All I can say is: I love quality control!
Just a few days later my compadres arrived. They were assigned to a different project.
And, as we are just about to adjust to the changes, Mr Hiccup decided that it was time for us to go back to Ultimate Destination. Of course we were very happy about these wonderful news at first, but we have learned the better. Therefore our enthusiasm did not fully emerge until the moment we arrived in Ultimate Destination.

We have been back for about a week now and many changes have occurred, as usual. If I was to report about them, I would spent more time blogging, than actually working.

As of today, our group is back on track, trying to proceed with Mr. Cleans' initial plan. Of course this is all on a long-term schedule, but at least we are allowed to stay and work.

Just a few more weeks of this chaos and then I am off to enjoy the hidden parts of this galaxy. It shall be my time to forget about work and this constant chaos and go back to the essential things about life.

Until next time, happy landings!
